This class is intended for beginner Makers and those looking to brush up on rusty skills while building something fun and functional.
This class provides the foundation for basic fabrication techniques using:
Band Saw
Miter Saw
Table Saw
Drill Press
Belt Sander
General Hand Tools
Students will learn Shop Safety, Selecting the right tool for the job, Equipment set-up, and Shop Etiquette. Each student will make and take home a saw push stick.
No experience needed. All safety equipment is provided. Please remember no open toe shoes. Refrain from wearing loose jewelry or long sleeves. If you have long hair please bring a hair tie/clip or hat.
