We have a 48 by 96 inch Wood CNC Router from Forest Scientific (Maker-fab CNC Router). It is capable of 2.5D CNC work on a variety of woods (Plywood, softwood, hardwood) up to about 6″ thick.

CNC Router Training/Certification – $50
Members must have specific training to use the CNC router. Approx class length 3 hrs, but depends on complexity of the trainee’s project being used for training and the user’s speed of learning. Fees maybe higher for significantly longer classes. Fees go to Akron Makerspace for support of CNC.
