Boasting a variety of equipment and materials, there’s no shortage of the amazing things that you (yes, YOU) can create here.

New to creating? Not a problem! Everyone starts somewhere. We offer classes and assistance with tips and tricks to bring your ideas to reality.

Dear Members and Friends of the Akron MakerSpace,

Now in our eleventh year of operation, the Akron MakerSpace continues to strive to expand its programs, resources and offerings to the greater Akron community and beyond.

AMS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists to provide an environment for community members to learn, design, and create within the areas of technology, art, engineering, and manufacturing; preparing them with hands-on skills to enter into entrepreneurial roles.

In order to meet our mission and provide services and resources to the community, we rely on the generosity of individuals and business for support. Without the assistance of community-minded supporters like you, we wouldn’t be able to serve those in our community each year.

Our current initiative is for the acquisition of equipment and supplies. All funds raised for this initiative will be used to fund new equipment and supplies in our Craft Lab, to include a multi-needle embroidery machine. As a maintainer of the Craft Lab, I know that the addition of this equipment will offer our current and future members even more opportunities to unleash their creativity.

Our goal for this initiative is $20,000, and we hope that you are able to make a contribution. Every donation, whether large or small, will make a difference!
