Hosting an evening is easy! Arrive a few minutes before 6:00PM to open the doors until 9:00PM. Workshop hours may extend until 10:00PM if hosts would like to give members extra time to work on their projects. This event is currently only for members.
Fabrication is underway on Akron Makerspace’s Second entry to the Power Wheels Racing Series!
This is our next group build night held on Saturday June 9th, 2018 from 2pm-7pm. Stop by and lend a hand while learning to build a sub $500 pint sized electric racing machine.
For those not in the know, PRS is a racing series that takes place at maker faires across the country. Entries drive home modified power wheels electric vehicles in a guts and glory race to the finish. A second winner will be crowned after every race based on that teams style or “moxie” points. Crashes, costumes, and crowd voting accumulate to name this other victor.

This is our twice-monthly tour of Akron Makerspace. This event is free, open to the public and held on every first and third Thursday of the month, excluding Holidays (Independence day, Thanksgiving, Christmas), occurrences of Alien invasion (second independence day), or the Apocalypse.
